Show leadership skills, know life saving skills and present professionalism. Must have  up-to-date information on how to lifeguard by anticipating an preventing problems before they occur and by taking action to help those in danger when necessary. Know safety skills, scanning, guarding techniques, emergency systems, rescue skills, first aid, spinal injury management, legal responsibilities and pool management. Member Services

We are looking for out going and motivated individuals to join our Y Family. Under the direction of the Membership Director, the Member Services Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service and keeping members informed of YMCA policies and programs. The Member Services Staff will assist in membership development by building relationships with members, staff and volunteers.  Member Service Staff is responsible for customer service, membership sales and changes, program/class registration, tours of the facility, organization and completion of tasks, and communication liaison between the members and/or public.  We are looking for a flexible individual willing to work a variety of shifts.  Shifts include openers, mid day, nights, and some weekends. Weight Room Support Staff

We are looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join our Y Family. Under the direction of the Wellness Director, the Weight Room Support Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service and keeping members safe and weight room organized and clean. The Weight Room Support Staff will assist participants when necessary and ensure everyone is following weight room policies and procedures. Weight Room Support Staff responsibilities include assisting participants, ensure participants safety, enforce YMCA policies and procedures, cleaning equipment, cleaning weight room and gym areas, towel laundry, and disinfecting. Weight Room Support Staff is a part-time position; need to be at least 17 years of age and the ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
