2025-2026 SEASON
The 2025-2026 Fall/Spring Sharks Swim season is here!
The KIYSA swim league brings school-aged youth together to learn competitive swimming and cultivate the values of teamwork. Swimming is a sport that individuals can excel in personally while building friendships in a fun team environment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and specialize in different strokes, explore their own strengths, and build physical fitness.

Qualifications
-To qualify for the team swimmers must be comfortable swimming the full length of the pool
​
Transportation
​
-Transportation to practice on sports bus from Jeff Craig is provided on practice days
-Parents are responsible for transporting their swimmer to and from meets
​
Attire
-Practice: Swimmers are responsible for bringing their own goggles, towel, and swimsuits every day.
-Swim Meet: Suits will be ordered in bulk through the Y and paid for by parents (around $35/each)

September 27 @Floyd County YMCA - Warmups at 4 pm, Meet starts at 5 pm

October 18 @Floyd County YMCA - Warmups at 4 pm, Meet starts at 5 pm

November 22 @Floyd County YMCA - Warmups at 4 pm, Meet starts at 5 pm
​
December 6 @Harrison County YMCA - Warmups at 10 am, Meet starts at 11 am
​
January 24 @Floyd County YMCA - Warmups at 4 pm, Meet starts at 5 pm
February 21 @Floyd County YMCA - Championship Meet - Warmups at 4 pm, Meet starts at 5 pm

Cost
$45/month for Member,
$65/month for Non-Member
- Locker rooms are OPEN FOR LAP SWIMMERS, WATER AEROBIC PARTICIPANTS, AND OPEN-SWIM PATRONS
- No equipment loaned out: this includes noodles, pull buoys, kickboards, fins, goggles, swim caps, etc.
- Can bring personal equipment for use
- Please take the time and read the Guidelines posted in our pool area.
